Holiday supervised sessions
In the school holidays we have sessions everyday:
6mths to under 3years: 3.45-5pm.
3-7 years: 1.15-3.15 pm & 6.30-9.30pm
8-12 years: 1.15-3.15 pm & 6.30-9.30pm

Staying with us during Easter? Find out what's going on in Kids' Zone — from spring‑inspired crafting and mocktail making to movie nights and outdoor adventures in forest school. Book onto any of the below Kids' Zone sessions here. For those 3-12 years.
Saturday 28 March: Discovery Forest School
1.15-3.15pm. Join the team at Discovery Forest School to build a den for yourself or the forest animals.
Monday 30 March: Tasty treats
1.15-3.15pm. Little bakers learn to make Easter‑themed goodies to take away (if they last that long).
Wednesday 1 April: Mocktail making
1.15-3.15pm. Shake, stir and taste your way through fun, colourful springtime mocktails.
Thursday 2 April: Midnight hike
6.30-9.30pm. A gentle after‑dark adventure exploring the sights and sounds of the lakeshore at night.
Friday 3 April: Easter crafts
1.15-3.15pm. Creative sessions with bright colours and seasonal inspiration.
Saturday 4 April: Little Chefs' Chocolate School
1.15-3.15pm. Join in Little Chefs' Chocolate school to make chocolatey treats.
Sunday 5 April (Easter Sunday): Claire's Cool Creatures
Easter trail:
Collect a map from front desk and join the Easter trail around the grounds. Once you've found the answers head back to collect your prize!
Monday 6 April: Games night
6.30-9.30pm. Board games, team games and plenty of laughter.
Tuesday 7 April: Discovery Forest School
1.15-3.15pm. Join the team at the Discovery Forest school for bug hunting and creating art from natural materials.
Wednesday 8 April: Recycle challenge
1.15-3.15pm. Get creative! design and make a model using recycled materials.
Friday 10 April: Discovery Forest School
1.15-3.15pm. Join the team at the Discovery Forest school to cook mini pizzas on the fire.
Saturday 11 April: Spring‑themed mask making
1.15-3.15pm. Creative sessions with bright colours and seasonal inspiration.
Easter Trail
Sunday 5 April, all day
Collect a map from front desk and join the Easter trail around the grounds. Once you've found the answers head back to collect your prize!
Claire's Cool Creatures
Sunday 5 April at 11am in The Living Space.

Discovery Forest School
Multiple dates over Easter holidays
Join the team at Discovery Forest School for a range of sessions across the holidays. From den building to bug hunting and cooking mini pizzas over the fire.
Baby monitoring
Subject to availability, we have a baby monitoring tablets that can be used in Rampsbeck, The Living Space and the library. Only available for use on the hotel grounds.

For babysitting requests, please contact our Kids' Zone team. Subject to availability.
Family activities
Explore our range of fun family activities including, archery, kayaking and workshops on the shores of Ullswater.
Kayaking
5+ and 8+ years | From £30 per person
Explore the bays and islands up and down the lake by kayak.
Stand-up paddleboarding
8+ years | £40 per person | £30 hire
Our fully qualified instructors tailor each session. Stand Up Paddleboarding is a great family activity.
Rafted canoe
5+ years | From £30 per person
Paddle together, as a group in two canoes tied together, creating our most stable craft.
Archery
7+ years | £20 per person
Our coaches run through the basics of archery for children and adults. Theory and safety, then shooting at targets in the hotel grounds.
